Edward L. De La Loza
For over two decades, Dr. De La Loza has believed in a commitment to mental health every day for everybody everywhere. This commitment has helped transform many people's lives from different cultures and in various healthcare and mental health settings.
After completing research in a phenomenological study of Mental Health Professionals' Lived Experience with Assessment and Treatment Planning of Youth at Risk for Suicide at Grand Canyon University and earning a Doctorate in Education in Organizational Leadership, with an Emphasis in Behavioral Health, Edward continues his work and interest in exploring various dimensions of the lived experience to enhance the quality of life. In addition, he continues to welcome new collaborations to identify and share helpful information from all fields and disciplines to advance understanding of how philosophical, spiritual, and meditation practices are relevant factors in promoting transformative change.
Microchange Leads to Substantive Change
At Mental Health 365, Inc., clients learn about an integrative approach [1] to designing cognitive constructs and how microchange leads to substantive change. In short, clients realize they can develop transformative healthy habits of mind by "rewiring the brain" [2] to result in new insights, emotional competencies, and behaviors leading to an improved quality of life.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Seven Dimensions of Transformational Living
At Mental Health 365, Inc., clients discover a renewed sense of self-mastery through a coordinated, coaching approach to therapy. As a result, many clients have overcome the limits of, for example, anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, relationship issues, and family history. In addition, clients benefit from learning about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Seven Dimensions of Transformational Living (7-DTL) and enjoy a dynamic approach to having meaningful and actionable strategies after each session, leading to the development of a new perspective and approach to vibrant living.
New Meaning for a Life Well Lived
As daily change becomes a new reality for many, clients experience the synergistic effects of increasing skills to embrace new challenges. And if needed, clients are assisted in accessing specialists to enhance their progress when required [3]. But, of course, the time it takes and the extent of each client's evolution will vary [4, 5].
With guided and ongoing education, clients discover new insights, the ability to fine-tune healthy behaviors, establish new routines, and cultivate a more pleasing emotional awareness leading to experiencing self-illumination. Furthermore, along the path of transformation, each client benefits from a personalized, empathic, stepwise, and guided plan to attain the most important and life-affirming goals they are ready to accomplish. Thus, each client's emerging self discovers a new meaning for a life well lived.
